Hello, I’m Javahn Maistry — A writer and director fuelled by life’s call to adventure and the wild ride that begins when you answer it.
I love exploring the “small-world problems” we all face: heartbreak, existential questions, work-life balance, and everyday misunderstandings. I believe everyone can relate to these moments, and they inspire me to craft character-driven stories that peek into why people do what they do—and how things can be resolved
My work is fueled by curiosity—both of the world around me and of myself. I see storytelling in the everyday, in the subtle gestures and moments that often go unnoticed, and I aim to turn these observations into narratives that feel relatable, honest, and engaging.
Right now, I’m working on a comedy feature called Save The Date—think Bridesmaids meets Toy Story.
